Job Title: RN - Progressive Care Unit

Location: Independence, Missouri

Pay: $57.29 per hour

Shifts: Every third weekend rotation, 36 hours/week

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN for the Progressive Care Unit in Independence, Missouri. This travel contract provides an exciting opportunity to work in a Level 2 trauma center with advanced medical equipment and a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Progressive Care Unit

• Provide direct patient care with a patient ratio of 1:3 in the morning and 1:4 in the afternoon/evening
• Utilize equipment such as BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, and Alaris IV pumps
• Manage patient documentation using the Meditech system
• Conduct bedside shift reports and hourly rounding
• Participate in daily leadership rounds

Requirements of the RN - Progressive Care Unit

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency in advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Experience with vasoactive drips and placement of central/PICC lines and chest tubes
• Ability to work well within a team
