The vascular access (IV therapy) RN position in Queens, NY allows you to provide specialized IV therapy and vascular access care at the facility. You will insert and maintain peripheral and central lines, assess patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic hospital environment. Required qualifications include a current New York RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and recent experience in vascular access or IV therapy. Competency in IV insertion and maintenance, as well as proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, is necessary. Recommended skills include strong attention to detail, adaptability, and effective communication with patients and clinical staff. Experience with peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC) and advanced vascular access techniques is preferred.
