This role involves working in a specialized environment focusing on gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and vascular studies/procedures. Candidates will need to handle a variety of advanced interventions and procedure sedations.

Key Responsibilities of the IR RN

• Perform angioplasty, chemoembolization, and other complex procedures
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Maintain infection prevention protocols
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias independently
• Work in a special procedures setting, ensuring optimal patient care

Requirements of the IR RN

• Active NY RN License
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications
• 1+ years of recent interventional radiology experience
