Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide comprehensive care across Antepartum, L&D, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and Mother/Baby settings
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal signs during labor
• Manage labor induction and augmentation
• Provide postpartum and newborn care

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• BLS certification through AHA
• ACLS certification through AHA
• NRP certification
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
