This travel assignment involves working in a healthcare environment that delivers approximately 850 to 900 infants annually. The role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to ensure comprehensive care for mothers and their newborns.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Assess patients' clinical conditions and take appropriate actions
• Formulate and execute nursing diagnoses
• Develop individualized care plans
• Initiate emergency measures when necessary
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment
• Administer therapeutic measures as prescribed
• Provide educational support to patients and families
• Document healthcare requirements and assign tasks to the team
• Evaluate and update care plans
• Oversee patient care by other nursing staff
• Promote a safe and productive environment
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in nursing

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Oklahoma or Compact RN License
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Clearance of pre-employment credentialing (Background Check and Drug Screen)
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including lifting up to 50lbs
