Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Administer care to labor and delivery patients following specific protocols
• Operate equipment such as Welch Allen vitals machines and Monica Novii telemetry
• Utilize EMR - Meditech/CPN systems accurately
• Perform procedures such as C-sections, inductions, and circulating C-sections
• Monitor patient vitals using CPN monitors and POC glucose monitoring

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Minimum 1-year current experience as an L&D RN
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, & AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM) certifications
• Preferred postpartum and high-risk LDR experience
