Key Responsibilities of the PCU RN for Float Pool

• Float to all PCU/IMCU floors with cardiac population
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Care for STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and chest pain patients
• Administer cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• Manage telemetry beds with lower acuity levels

Requirements of the PCU RN for Float Pool

• BLS/ACLS certification required
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar-sized facility
