Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide direct patient care in a med/surg setting to a variety of patients including telemetry and pre/post-surgical cases
• Utilize equipment such as bladder scanners, vein finders, and iMobile devices for efficient communication
• Ensure accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate effectively with medical teams to provide patient-centered care
• Float throughout the hospital as needed to care for med/surg patients

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Valid TX RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) preferred
