Job Title: RN - Med Surg - Travel

Location: Overland Park, KS

Pay: $55.80 per hour

Shifts: 48hrs Guaranteed preferred

This role is based in a dynamic hospital's Surgical Specialty Unit, which boasts a fast-paced work environment and cutting-edge equipment. The successful candidate will be vital in delivering high-quality post-operative care to patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide total patient care with a 4:1 ratio, or 5:1 with a patient care tech
• Utilize equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, Pyxis Medication Dispensing Machine, telemetry, and more
• Document patient information using Medi Tech
• Manage post-operative care, including ostomy management, IV starts, and blood administration
• Participate in unit floating to like medical/surgical/telemetry units

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Current BLS certification
• Proven Med-Surg experience
• Advanced understanding of post-operative care
