Job Title: Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse

Location: GL: Nursing, OH

Pay: $2,571.84 per week

Shifts: Straight Days 7A-7:30P, Every Other Weekend and Holiday

Key Responsibilities of the Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse

• Continuously monitor patients' cardiovascular status using various devices
• Assess for signs of cardiac complications and respond appropriately
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Provide post-surgical and post-procedural care to cardiac patients
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans
• Respond to emergent situations and provide immediate interventions
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety

Requirements of the Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience
• Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing or Mult-State License
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience in cardiac care, critical care, or telemetry nursing
