Job Title: Med Surg RN - 8th Floor

Location: Utica, NY

Pay: $2,376 weekly

Shifts: Days: 1:5-6; Nights: 1:6-7

Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Med Surg RN for an exciting travel assignment on the 8th Floor. This role primarily focuses on oncology, hematology, ENT, dermatology, and general med-surg care, providing a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Med Surg RN

• Administer chemotherapy and manage chemotherapy treatments
• Manage central line blood draws and PICC line care
• Provide care for colostomy/ileostomy and feeding tubes
• Oversee insulin administration and heparin protocols
• Monitor telemetry and respond to rapid response/code situations
• Assist in pre/post hemodialysis management and surgical drain care
• Utilize EPIC for charting and patient management

Requirements of the Med Surg RN

• Valid NY License in hand
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred: NIH and 1.5 years experience
• Experience with EPIC charting system
