Job Title: RN - Neuro MedSurg Acute

Location: Peoria, IL

Pay: $2,571.84 weekly

Shifts: 12hr nights

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Neuro MedSurg Acute

• Provide care for patients with conditions such as stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, and head injury
• Administer and titrate drips, including heparin, based on PTT
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and house supervisor to maintain appropriate nurse-patient ratios
• Participate in floating as required, performing skills within competency and with appropriate support
• Effectively use RT equipment such as high flow for stable COVID patients

Requirements of the RN - Neuro MedSurg Acute

• Active IL license or confirmation of application process
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Must have level 1 trauma experience
• Previous travel experience and prior experience on a dedicated neuro unit
• Must have heparin gtt experience
