Key Responsibilities of the RN - Neuro MedSurg Acute

• Provide care to patients with stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, and head injuries
• Titrate drips, including heparin, based on PTT values
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors
• Float in rotation with the rest of staff and handle team-based responsibilities on general units

Requirements of the RN - Neuro MedSurg Acute

• Active IL license or application in process
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Previous travel nurse experience
• Experience working on a dedicated neuro unit
• Heparin gtt experience
