Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - Med Surg for a travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. The position specializes in geriatrics, trauma, and ortho trauma, with an emphasis on patient care for adults over the age of 65. The work environment is dynamic and requires expertise in hospital-acquired delirium prevention, early mobility, HAPI prevention, and falls prevention.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Administer trauma care in a 38-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage patients with common conditions such as trauma, falls, fractures, and MVC
• Administer Heparin drips and other acute medications as required
• Utilize specialty equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT equipment
• Engage in effective communication with family and involve them in patient care

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Documented experience in med/tele with a completed checklist
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
