Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Deliver care for patients with alcohol abuse, COPD, DM, CHF, Sepsis, and Pneumonia
• Administer medications including antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood, Lasix, and Amiodarone
• Operate specialty equipment like Pyxis, Zebra scanners, bladder scanners, and dopplers
• Engage in hospital orientation followed by unit-specific orientation with a preceptor
• Float across departments as required by the hospital

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• 1-2+ years of experience in Med Surg/Telemetry
• Active Massachusetts RN license (current or conditional)
• Current AHA BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Flu vaccine as per the season
• Two recent references from MS/Tele Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor
