Job Title: RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - Travel

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $65.49 per hour

Shifts: Alternating 7a-7p, 7p-7a

Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel assignment in Rochester, NY. Join a tertiary care hospital providing complex care to patients with a variety of medical and orthopedic conditions. This role requires adeptness in managing a wide range of medical equipment and patient care scenarios.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Administer blood products and manage central lines
• Perform phlebotomy and manage peripheral lines
• Monitor telemetry and engage in rapid response/code teams
• Care for pacemakers and manage tracheostomy and feeding tubes
• Implement isolation precautions and provide wound care using Wound Vacs
• Administer oxygen via various delivery systems
• Float as needed and manage a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg / Telemetry

• Active NY license and BLS/NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, with prior charge experience
• Proficiency in using EPIC for charting
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:6
