Location: San Marcos, TX

Pay: $2,008.80 weekly

Shifts: Nights 7PM-7AM

This travel assignment involves working within a Critical Care Step-Down Unit, providing both routine and complex care. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg

• RN License in the state of TX or compact
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the related nursing specialty
