RN-NICU jobs at the facility in Rapid City, SD let you provide specialized care to newborns in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. You will assess, plan, and implement care for infants with complex medical needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and documenting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must have completed an approved nursing education program, hold an active South Dakota RN license, and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire. Experience in neonatal intensive care is preferred, and 5 or more years as a registered nurse or a Bachelor’s degree in nursing are recommended. Strong clinical judgment, neonatal resuscitation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this unit.
