Job Title: Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse Coordinator (CAR-T)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

Pay: $3,264.80 weekly

Shifts: Mon - Fri, hours between 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 8-hour shifts

Seven Healthcare are seeking a Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse Coordinator (CAR-T) for a contract assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. This role requires expertise in coordinating cellular therapy treatments, including Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. Key Responsibilities of the Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse Coordinator (CAR-T)

• Coordinate all phases of CAR-T therapy, including referral, evaluation, leukapheresis, bridging therapy, lymphodepletion, infusion, and post-treatment monitoring
• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers throughout the treatment journey
• Facilitate timely scheduling of consultations, procedures, imaging, laboratory studies, and treatment appointments
• Monitor patient progress and identify barriers to care, escalating concerns as appropriate
• Ensure completion of required pre-treatment evaluations and clearances
• Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Review laboratory, diagnostic, and clinical information to support treatment readiness
• Assess and triage patient symptoms, adverse events, and urgent clinical concerns
• Coordinate management of treatment-related toxicities, including CRS and ICANS
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record
• Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections
• Facilitate communication with treatment partners
• Provide education regarding treatment plans, potential toxicities, and caregiver responsibilities

Requirements of the Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse Coordinator (CAR-T)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic
• Working knowledge of malignant hematology
• Familiarity with Microsoft products
• Valid license required on the first day of employment
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
