Key Responsibilities of the OR RN

• Perform surgical procedures including but not limited to hysterectomies, orthopedic surgeries, and appendectomies
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation
• Handle surgical specimens and ensure proper labeling
• Maintain infection control and comply with safety protocols
• Manage patient care effectively in an operating room setting

Requirements of the OR RN

• Minimum of 1 year of recent OR experience, required within the last year
• Valid NY State RN license (or application proof)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS
