Special Education Teacher

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience working with high school students and/or students receiving special education services preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation

We are currently seeking a High School Special Education Teacher for full-time, onsite opportunity with a valued school district partner in the Phoenix Metro Area for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• 40 hours per week
• Onsite, school-based position
• 2026–2027 school year assignment
• High school setting
• Special Education teaching position
• Competitive hourly pay of up to $53.00 per hour, based on experience

Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs.
• Provide specialized academic and behavioral support to high school students with disabilities.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain IEPs in accordance with district and state requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction and interventions as needed.
• Provide appropriate accommodations and modifications to support student success.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Support students in developing academic, behavioral, social, and post-secondary skills.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

 

Salary:

• Up to $53.00 per hour, based on experience
• 40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay: Up to $2,120
• Estimated Monthly Pay: Up to $9,187
• Weekly direct deposit
