Job Title: 4 West PCU Registered Nurse

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay: $2,667.24 per week

Shifts: Rotating weekends, holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities of the 4 West PCU Registered Nurse

• Provide care for cardiac, pulmonary, renal, and medical patients with diagnoses such as CHF, SVT, a-fib, and NSTEMI
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, acute and chronic kidney failure, and metabolic/electrolyte abnormalities
• Handle wound care, including surgical wound care and negative pressure dressing
• Administer and monitor drips including Heparin, Lasix, and Amiodarone
• Collaborate with PCAs/CNAs and unit coordinators to deliver comprehensive care
• Float to like units as required

Requirements of the 4 West PCU Registered Nurse

• Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Vistelar training specific to UofL
• A minimum of 3 years recent PCU/SD/Intermediate care experience
• Completion of at least one travel assignment
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR with a comfort score of 3 or higher
