In this role, you monitor patients with complex conditions such as heart failure or pneumonia and collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust treatment plans. You must hold a current RN license and have at least an associate degree in nursing, though many employers prefer a bachelor’s degree. Experience in acute care and the ability to recognize changes in patient condition quickly are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients and families are also important. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is often required. Candidate must have Trauma 1 listed by the facility they worked, PCU, Stepdown, Intermediate Care, and EPIC experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
