This role requires working within a 16-room unit designed for patients over the age of 60. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide essential care to those experiencing dementia, depression, or suicidal tendencies, with staffing ratios and support tailored to patient acuity.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Psych - Travel

• Deliver specialized psychiatric care to geriatric patients
• Administer medications, draw blood, and manage IVs
• Maintain a safe environment using Centrak badges
• Float within scope of practice to Med/Surg units as needed
• Participate in team collaboration to optimize patient care plans

Requirements of the RN - Psych - Travel

• BLS and CPI certification required
• Epic experience within the last year
• 2+ years of geriatric psychiatric nursing experience
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE
• Ability to float within the scope of practice
