Key Responsibilities of the RN - Behavioral Health - Travel

• Assess patients' mental health status, recognizing signs of psychiatric disorders and behavioral problems
• Develop individualized care plans tailored to patients with mental health issues
• Administer and monitor psychiatric medications, managing side effects and adverse reactions
• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in distress
• Build trust with patients through therapeutic communication and empathy
• Monitor patients for changes in mental and physical health, including medication effects

Requirements of the RN - Behavioral Health - Travel

• Active RN license
• BLS and CPI certifications
• Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
