Job Title: SMH Level 1 RN Psych ER

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $63.41 per hour

Shifts: Straight Nights, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per unit needs, 48 hours/week only

Key Responsibilities of the SMH Level 1 RN Psych ER

• Conduct intake assessments through interviews to gather case history
• Plan and provide nursing care for patients
• Make nursing diagnosis and recommend treatment options
• Consult with psychiatrists and design appropriate treatment plans
• Administer and monitor reactions to psychotropic drugs and medications
• Arrange further medical attention when necessary
• Assist patients in understanding and accepting the need for treatment
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and patients
• Test for vital signs of pain and ensure treatments
• Document patient information on medical charts
• Maintain accurate records of treatments, immunizations, and laboratory results
• Perform administrative assignments and provide high-quality service to public requests

Requirements of the SMH Level 1 RN Psych ER

• NY License ONLY
• BLS Certification (AHA) ONLY
• Minimum 2 years experience
