Pay: $2,599.20 weekly

Shifts: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM

The position involves working with geriatric adults in a secure psych unit of a general hospital. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Behavioral Health - Travel

• Facilitate therapeutic groups
• Manage involuntary and voluntary status admissions
• Provide medical and psychiatric care
• Apply restraints and manage seclusion when necessary
• Assist with ambulation and activities of daily living for geriatric patients
• Float to other units as needed providing support without direct assignments

Requirements of the RN - Behavioral Health - Travel

• CT-RN license
• Crisis Management Training Certification, such as CPI or Northwell (6-hour in-person courses considered)
• BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience in psychiatric care
