Job Title: Step-Down RN

Location: Auburn, NY

Pay: $67.12 per hour

Shifts: 48 hrs guaranteed, EOW & EOH

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Post-heart catheterization care and TR band management
• Monitor post-vascular procedure vitals and perform frequent neurovascular checks
• Administer and manage emergency medications and cardiac drips
• Perform IV starts, maintenance, and PICC line management
• Interpret and manage cardiac monitoring, including dysrhythmia management
• Facilitate post-procedural sedation monitoring
• Conduct BiPAP/CPAP management and assist with chest tube procedures
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and manage isolation precautions

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of recent step-down experience
• Proficient skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency management
• Experience with PICC line and central line care
