Job Title: Step-Down RN

Location: Auburn, NY

Pay: $2,416.32 per week

Shifts: 36 hours guaranteed, every other weekend & holiday, no blocked scheduling

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Post-heart cath care
• TR band application and monitoring
• Post-vascular procedure monitoring
• Frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• IV start and maintenance
• PICC line management
• Blood product administration
• Emergency medications and procedural sedation monitoring
• Assist with BiPAP/CPAP management
• Assist with chest tube insertion/removal

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years recent Step-Down experience
• Proficiency in cardiac and emergency care, and cardiac monitoring
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Proficiency in IV and PICC line management
• Experience with cardiac drip titration and respiratory support techniques
