Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. The RN will support a patient population including Congestive Heart Failure, post-heart catheterization, respiratory failure, and cardiac dysrhythmias. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in step-down units and emergency cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Provide post-heart catheterization care and monitor TR bands
• Conduct frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Manage and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips and emergency medications
• Perform IV start and maintenance, as well as PICC line management
• Manage respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP
• Assist with cardiac and respiratory procedures

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of recent Step-Down experience
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management
• Experience in infection prevention and isolation precautions
