Sterile Processing Technician

Location: Green Bay, WI

Pay: $1,516 weekly

Shifts: 4 shifts total, 2 in each department

Seven Healthcare is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment in Green Bay, WI. In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment that includes a Level II Trauma Center and other specialized units. The position requires a candidate with significant sterile processing experience to join their team.

Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

• Process and maintain proper care of all surgical instruments and equipment, including inspection, evaluation of function, cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilization
• Maintain quality control and documentation records of the sterilization process
• Distribute designated supplies and equipment throughout the medical center
• Work with a wide variety of instruments for services such as orthopedics, ophthalmology, neuro, and more
• Perform assembly, sterilization, wrapping, decontamination, and high-level disinfection
• Regularly float between decontamination, assembly, and sterilization areas

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician

• CRCST or CBSPD certification
• Experience with a tracking system for sterilization (SPM Tracking)
• Minimum of 1.5 years of sterile processing experience
