Job Title: RN - Telemetry - Travel

Location: Alexandria, LA

Pay: $90/hr

Shifts: Days- 7AM - 7PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This position involves working with cardiac and telemetry patients, providing complex nursing care in this specialized field. The unit is not a stepdown unit, offering a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1-6:1 based on staffing levels.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and caregivers.

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• BLS certification via AHA required
• ACLS certification via AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• EPIC experience is required
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and one year of experience in the related nursing specialty
