Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry

• Monitor and interpret patients’ cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Provide direct patient care based on individual and clinical needs
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to implement treatment plans
• Perform procedures such as Foley insertion, PIV, and blood draws
• Initiate code stroke protocols as necessary

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry

• Active RN license
• Competency in NIH stroke scale
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Minimum one year experience in a telemetry setting
