Job Title: RN - Telemetry - Travel

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay: $63.24 per hour

Shifts: 48hrs Guaranteed preferred

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Kansas City, MO. This role involves working within a hospital setting on the 4 North Cardiac Telemetry unit, utilizing advanced equipment, and providing care to post-cardiac procedure patients. The assignment requires competency in telemetry and a commitment to excellent patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, and post-Operative care for heart surgeries.
• Administer and titrate IV medications including insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.
• Perform procedures such as IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, chest tube maintenance, and temporary pacemaker management.
• Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips.
• Meet patient experience goals by providing courteous and respectful care, responding promptly to call lights, and involving patients in their care.
• Collaborate effectively with a healthcare team using communication devices like Imobile.

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Experience in Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, or ICU
• Proficiency in reading EKGs and telemetry strips
