Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is often preferred. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is recommended. Skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, patient assessment, and teamwork are important for this role.
