Job Title: RN - Telemetry - Travel

Location: Peoria, IL

Pay: $2,571.84 weekly

Shifts: 12hr Days

Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This role is within the Cardio Thoracic department of a busy acute care setting, focusing on conditions such as MI, CHF, A fib, COPD, and various lung surgeries. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Interpret EKGs and titrate medications as needed, including Cardizem and heparin
• Manage nurse to patient ratios of 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5-6 at night
• Work collaboratively with monitor techs and interpret telemetry strips
• Provide patient care including the administration of CPAP and BiPAP in specialized circumstances
• Float to other general medical units as required

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• Active IL RN license or confirmation that the application has been initiated
• BLS certification required; ACLS recommended
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation and medication titration
• Experience in a similar acute care setting
