Registered Nurse (RN) –Arcata,CA

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 40 hours): Hourly $25.74, Stipend (Lodging $910.00 + M&I $602.00) = $1,512.00, 

Total Comp: $2,541.60

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Nursing Specialty: Utilization Review RN

 Duties & Responsibilities

• Review medical records to ensure healthcare services are appropriate and medically necessary.

• Evaluate patient information and treatment plans based on established clinical guidelines.

• Coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, and insurance companies regarding patient care and service approvals.

• Monitor medical documentation and identify missing information needed for review.

• Assist with authorization requests, continued stay reviews, and discharge planning.

• Maintain accurate records and follow established clinical guidelines, policies, and confidentiality requirements.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing 

• Active CA license, 

• BLS and ACLS certification.

• Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months.

• Experienced Utilization Review Nurse / Case Manager. 

• Additional certifications may be required

• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
