Job Title: Radiation Therapist

Location: Rockford, IL

Pay: $3,308.80 weekly

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

This role involves working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to administer radiation treatments as prescribed. Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist

• Administer radiation treatments according to oncologist's prescriptions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality care and continuity.
• Contribute to patient assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans.
• Ensure patient safety by following radiation safety guidelines.
• Perform equipment checks and maintain accurate patient records.
• Assist with dosimetry and tumor localization procedures.
• Act as a patient advocate throughout treatment.

Requirements of the Radiation Therapist

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiation therapy technology.
• ARRT certification required within one year of graduation.
• Licensed by or license-pending with the State of Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety.
• Preferred experience with Varian Trubeam, ARIA record and verify, and related technologies.
