Key Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Provide care to pediatric patients in ICU settings, including PICU, NICU, and ED
• Manage ventilators and administer inhaled nitric oxide and Heliox
• Utilize specialty equipment such as Vapotherm, Optiflow, Oscillator, and IPV
• Administer required drips, including continuous Alb and nebulized medications
• Float to AMBH and SR as required by the department
• Adhere to hospital and departmental policies, including working winter holidays and nicotine-free requirements

Requirements of the Registered Respiratory Therapist

• 2+ years of pediatric experience
• ICU and extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED
• Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
• Active GA license required
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic
