Key Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care services
• Utilize equipment such as GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
• Administer and monitor high flow oxygen devices like Vapotherm
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient-centered care

Requirements of the Registered Respiratory Therapist

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
