Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Attend high-risk deliveries
• Manage ventilation using conventional and high frequency oscillatory ventilation
• Administer surfactant
• Acquire and interpret blood gases
• Administer Nitric Oxide

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Level 3 NICU experience, or 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience
• NRP certification
• STABLE certification preferred
