Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Fargo, ND

Pay: $2,571.84 per week

Shifts: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday

This role involves working in a dynamic acute care environment and is suitable for professionals with experience in Level 1 trauma and ICU settings. The successful candidate will provide critical respiratory care to patients in a facility with over 300 beds.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Conduct respiratory therapy assessments and follow protocols
• Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis
• Manage ventilator and non-invasive ventilation therapy
• Deliver medications and facilitate airway clearance
• Assist with intubations, trach placements, bronchoscopies, and extubations
• Participate in emergency response teams and ICU rounds
• Transport patients within the hospital as needed

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum of 2 years recent respiratory therapy experience
• Level 1 trauma and ICU experience required; ER experience preferred
• Experience in facilities with 300+ beds
• RRT - NBRC certification preferred, CRT considered
• BLS - AHA certification
• ND state license or willingness to apply within 72 hours of offer acceptance
