This role specializes in Diagnostic Radiology and involves both scheduled and emergency imaging examinations. Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist

• Review and evaluate requisitions for Diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring appropriateness of the procedure prescribed.
• Identify patients correctly according to hospital policy with 2 identifiers.
• Select appropriate equipment and technical factors to identify pathologic and normal anatomy.
• Assess patients' and parents' physical and emotional status and develop a care plan specific to their needs.
• Explain examinations and answer questions regarding the exam and radiation exposure.
• Follow Departmental QC/Data Integrity Workflow.
• Practice High Reliability Training.

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist

• An Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Training in Diagnostic Radiology.
• MA Radiographer license and ARRT certification is required.
