Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

• Provide patient care sessions ranging from 30 to 120 minutes
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts, lite gaits, and standard therapy equipment
• Work with a patient ratio of 4-6 per day
• Efficiently communicate and adjust scheduling based on patient needs
• Support patients with chest tubes, jp drains, wound vacs, trach/pEGS

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

• State of Texas Occupational Therapy license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in Inpatient and Neuro Rehabilitation is preferred
