Key Responsibilities of the OBGYN Ultrasound Tech

• Perform high-risk OB ultrasounds, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans
• Conduct fetal anatomical surveys and fetal echocardiography
• Utilize ultrasound equipment such as GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite
• Administer umbilical cord doppler and amniocentesis procedures
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Requirements of the OBGYN Ultrasound Tech

• Current CPR certification
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in OBGYN ultrasound
