Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - Travel

Location: Boston, MA

Pay: $2,968 per week

Shifts: Rotating day shift 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (4-10 hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, and some vascular exams
• Interact daily with patients and other medical personnel
• Review charts and select appropriate equipment and transducers
• Interview patients and explain procedures
• Assist physicians during sterile invasive procedures
• Record images and provide preliminary interpretations
• Perform high-level disinfection of ultrasound transducers
• Serve as a team resource for technical information and training

Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist

• Must have ARDMS certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience in transplants, dopplers, and renal artery stenosis
