Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $3320 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 5 years of Critical Care Float Pool experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be competent in multiple ICU specialties, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, and Trauma Surgery, and have experience with IMC/Progressive/General Care populations.
• ICU experience with adult populations is required.
• Basic arrhythmia experience is required.
• Limited CRRT-Nextstage experience may be considered.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Epic experience within the past 12 months is preferred.
• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Adult and geriatric patient population.
• Critical care assignments may include Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU.
• IMC/Progressive/General Care populations may be included as needed.
• High-acuity patient population.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shifts may be 8 or 12 hours.
• Every other weekend and some holidays.

Floating Requirements:

• Will float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, MSICU, and IMC/Progressive unit.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
