We are seeking an experienced Cardiac/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel assignment. This unit primarily cares for cardiac and telemetry patients and is not a Stepdown unit.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On-Call: None
• Floating: None
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5-6, depending on staffing
• EMR: Epic
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• Temp-to-Perm: Possible

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of employment or Compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) - Required
• Minimum 1 year of related nursing experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• Cardiac/Telemetry nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and document care in Epic.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.

Additional Information: Facility-specific orientation and competency validation are required upon hire.
