Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Infusion in Batavia, NY. This position provides direct nursing care to outpatient infusion patients and requires strong clinical assessment, medication administration, patient monitoring, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to outpatient infusion patients.
• Administer IV medications, infusions, and other treatments as ordered.
• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition, adverse reactions, and treatment-related complications.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns when necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Active New York RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN nursing experience.
• Recent infusion, oncology, or outpatient nursing experience required.
• Hematology/oncology experience required.
• ONC certification required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hematology/oncology nursing experience.
• Outpatient infusion center experience.
• Chemotherapy or immunotherapy administration experience.
• Experience with IV access and vascular access devices.
• Experience working with electronic medical records.
• Telemetry experience Preferred
• Recent acute care experience

License/Certification:

• Active New York RN License (Required)
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification (Required)
