Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,007 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Boston, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Previous OR Circulator experience required.
• Previous travel experience required.
• Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips.
• Must pass the facility telemetry exam on Day 1 with a score of 85% or higher.

Preferred Experience

• High-risk obstetrics experience.

Not Accepted

• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) experience alone will not be considered in place of RN Labor & Delivery experience.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• NRP
• AWHONN

EMR

• EPIC experience required.

Department Overview

• 9 Labor Rooms
• 2 Operating/Recovery Rooms
• 5 Triage Rooms
• Approximately 3,000 deliveries annually

Testing RequirementsProphecy Assessment

• Most units require a Prophecy exam after the interview and prior to an official offer.
• Candidates are allowed two attempts to pass.

Telemetry Exam

• Required on Day 1.
• Minimum passing score: 85%.

Time-Off Policy

• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to offer acceptance.
• No RTO may be added after a contract confirmation has been signed.
